“It takes a village”
This quote could not be more true when it comes to motherhood and parenting! Whether you are a new mama, or a seasoned mama, we all need support. We need people to bounce ideas off of, people to listen to us, and simply put- people around us that we can relate to! Motherhood can feel pretty isolating at times, but it doesn’t have to be! Whether you are just looking for your village, or just looking for ideas, you’ve come to the right place!
What are you looking for?
Are you pregnant and wanting to learn about what to expect when the baby finally arrives?
Do you love reading real stories from real moms?
Do you have a toddler and you are looking for discipline tips and how to deal with certain behaviors?
Perhaps you are interested in learning more about the wonder weeks and developmental milestones?
I’d love to inspire you and send my experiences and advice your way. I am a former engineer and chemistry teacher, and I am a mom to a 2 year old girl. Learn more about me here. I write about all of my experiences as a mother. I write not only about the things that have worked well, but I also troubleshoot and problem solve through the use of this blog. I like other mamas to know that it doesn’t always go as smoothly as we’d like, and that we all have bumps in the road!
Join Our Village
You can join me (and other amazing mamas) in this wonderful parenting journey, by doing two things:
1. Weekly village talk:
If you are looking to find daily inspiration about the above topics and much more, join my daily village talk! Simply click the button below and enter your email address. When I write a post, I’ll send it directly to your inbox every week so you never miss a beat! Sometimes I write daily, and sometimes I take a few days in between, but regardless you’ll never miss out on the content! I will never ever share your email address- it’s safe with me!
2. The MOC Village of Support:
If you are looking for support, and mama friends that you can turn to at any time (day or night), you’ll be interested to join our Facebook discussion group. I keep this group small and POSITIVE. There has never been, and never will be any judgement allowed in the group. (Mommy wars need to end!) The moms in this group are wonderful. Only moms that really want to be there are added to the group.
I have a simple screening process to make sure that it stays that way. All you have to do is go to the group, read the group description, click to join the group, and send me a message with the requested information. Simple as that, and it’s kept the group supportive, positive and simply amazing. These moms are my village and I’d love for you to be a part of it as well!
